I Can’t Train JD

Meet JD. He’s my dog that i’e had for the last few month. His original name was Mascot, but I decided to name him JD. (Short for Jack Daniels). I will get into his name on another date. I know that I have a busy schedule, and I lack a lot of discipline myself now a days, but I’ve really been having a hard time trying to train JD. Over the next few months I will write and talk about my progress with training this dog. The first thing I want to begin with is keeping him off the damn couch. Any tips will help! Feel free to leave a comment or reach out to me on social media. @Bourbonbulpodcast on Instagram.

Still In My Feelings

In the most recent podcast episode I opened up a bit about how my Valentine’s night went. The day has never been the easiest day as of late. It’s the same date as our late dad’s birthday. Of course I’m in deep thought during the entire day. What sucks is when you get excited about something for days and then get let down when it doesn’t happen. We’re all human and things happen. I’ve been studying the skill of communication lately, and it is very important for people that care about each other to communicate. I do have the responsibility to tell exactly how I feel and why. (Not just by airing it out over a podcast episode). As Stan said at the end of the episode be understanding of other people’s feelings and situations. Moving forward I’m going to try and keep that in mind. No one likes to be stressed out for two nights in a row and have to go through an entire bottle of bourbon. Aye it happens. I’ll be out my feelings before the week’s end though. We have a podcast to record.

Bourbon Bul Shoot BTS

Last weekend I had the opportunity to work with someone that’s inspired me for quite some time. Trey Taylor of Live & Maintain Photos had a vision to capture some of the cool places in the FishTown neighborhood. I had a good time with this shoot. It’s been a very long time since I’ve done any work in front of a camera outside of Instagram. I have to admit I was nervous as hell, but he did a great and professional job at making sure things went smooth. This particular photo was taken inside R&D which is a cocktail bar located in the FishTown neighborhood.

Be sure to check out more of Trey’s work by following him on Instagram @livenmphotos

Things of That Nature Podcast

This photo was taken 4 years ago today when we first began working on Things of That Nature Podcast. Some of you may remember it was a podcast that I started with my good friend John. We had a good run, but I’m happy to move forward with this new project which is the Bourbon Bul Podcast. It’s crazy how fast time flies. I really wanted to share this photo with you all to share how much time has passed. (Yes that is bourbon in the glass!)
